Let’s face it, when it comes to cooking, I’m no Rachel Ray. The thought of shopping for ingredients and preparing a meal does not excite me at all. Cooking takes time, and after a long day of work the last thing I want to do is hang out in my kitchen trying to figure out what I’m going to eat.

I’ve always wanted a personal gourmet chef to prepare my meals. After calculating how much I spent each week on Uber Eats and other take -outs for lunch and dinner, I realized it made more sense (health-wise and financially) to find someone to cook for me. I know some of you may be thinking – “Shani, you’re lazy, just learn to cook…” You’re right! I am a little lazy when it comes to cooking and I have no desire to really learn, but hey – at least I’m being honest.

When I began my quest, I knew that I wanted to eat healthier than ever before, and I also made a personal decision to start a low carb lifestyle and completely give up meat and chicken. After doing a lot of research – calling local chefs, speaking to dietitians, and perusing meal delivery service menus, I chose Lunchology.

“Everytime you eat is an opportunity to nourish yourself.”- Lunchology

Lunchology sets the standard of high quality, clean, and healthy eating. One of the reasons I chose Lunchology is because they have a registered dietitian who ensures each meal is well-balanced, nutritious, and fits each client’s personal needs. I am on a low carb pescatarian diet. My meals are freshly cooked each day by a chef and delivered to my office daily (or home when I’m not at work).

Lunchology prepares both my lunch and dinner Monday – Friday. The portion of each meal is plentiful and it’s delicious – and it’s fresh (notice how I keep emphasizing fresh)!

I’ve been using Lunchology for 4 months and what I love most about Lunchology is that each meal is creative – I’ve never had the same dish twice.

Since I began this new lifestyle of having my meals prepared for me, I’ve lost weight, my skin is healthier, I have more energy, and I’ve actually saved money.

Personal chefs and meal delivery plans aren’t for everyone. If you’re thinking about going down this road, do your research. There are so many options – and some of the most popular options aren’t always the best or the healthiest. If you are in the Miami-Dade area, I personally recommend Lunchology. However, if you’re outside this area and need help with your search, let me know and I’d be happy to help.

Will I ever try to really cook and meal prep?!? Maybe one day in the distant future. But for now, I’m all about Lunchology!
